How were estates passed on, 1945 to 2000?
A dead star's image is protected only where an heir registers it and sues; elsewhere others register it first. When the only heir is a minor, the probate court can appoint a separate lawyer to review the contracts the executors are paying, and that review can end a manager's share of the estate.
