Historical event
Delon's 2019 stroke and the April 2024 court protection order placed on him four months before his death

Alain Delon's three children fought over his care and his two wills, and in 2026 two of them were fined for secretly recording the third

Alain Delon's 2015 will split his estate, which Le Monde put at several tens of millions of euros, 50% to his daughter Anouchka and 25% each to his sons Anthony and Alain-Fabien. A second will, signed in Geneva on 24 November 2022, made Anouchka sole holder of his moral rights. On 22 February 2023 he gave her 51% of Adid, the company that holds the Delon brand and image rights. In July 2023 all three children filed a complaint against his companion, Hiromi Rollin, alleging harassment and mistreatment of his dog. From January 2024 the children fought in public: the sons said Anouchka manipulated their father and hid his health; she said they endangered him. In February 2024 gendarmes seized 72 firearms and 3,000 rounds from his house. On 4 April 2024 a Montargis judge placed him under reinforced guardianship, with a curator paying his expenses. He died on 18 August 2024 and was buried in the private chapel of his estate, La Brûlerie, near his dogs, with a prefect's permission. In August 2025 Alain-Fabien sued in Paris to annul the 2022 will and the Adid gift. In December 2025 he asked Swiss courts to suspend the will, and on 9 March 2026 he dropped the Paris case. On 3 June 2026 a Paris criminal court gave both sons suspended €1,000 fines and ordered damages of €2,000 and €3,000 for recording and posting a January 2024 conversation between Anouchka and their father. RTL reported that settlement talks continue in Switzerland.

What the law took from it

A second will and a lifetime gift made after a documented stroke gave the excluded heirs grounds to sue in two countries.
