Stan Lee's last manager was charged with elder abuse after the Marvel creator died

Stan Lee co-created Spider-Man, the X-Men and the Avengers. His wife, Joan, died in July 2017†. In 2018 a court granted a restraining order against Keya Morgan, who had been acting as Lee's business manager. The filing disclosed a Los Angeles police elder-abuse investigation and alleged that Morgan took advantage of Lee's impaired hearing, vision and judgment and cut him off from family and associates. Morgan was arrested separately for allegedly filing a false police report about burglars at Lee's house and released on $20,000 bail. Lee's daughter and only child, J.C. Lee, sat in court as lawyers argued over who could speak for her father. After Lee died, prosecutors on 10 May 2019 filed five counts of elder abuse against Morgan, and a $300,000 arrest warrant was issued. The outcome of that criminal case was not found in the sources reviewed†. All charges against Morgan are allegations.

What the law took from it
